| Hey, Wassup my peeps!
As promised here is my blog - I know that I've been sayin for the last 3 months, "next week I'll blog, I promise" but I haven't. I just havent had the time......no let me correct that, I just couldnt be bothered hehehe  .
But finally it is here, and its gonna be a long one - covering events that have happened from April to Now. So lets go.
APRIL
Nothing much happenin in April except I went with friends Hsiu Ling, Chouly and Yukimi to the Destinys Child concert. I have to tell you that this was my first concert and what a first concert it was. I have been a fan of DC since they started - bein an R&B boy, and to see them live was fantastic. DC started with many of there older songs - Bills, Bills, Bills, Jumpin, Jumpin, Say my name, Bug-a-boo, So good etc. And then went on to more recent songs such as Survivor, Independant Woman, Lose my breath, Girl. During the concert, each of the trio was able to sing some solos, Kelly sang Stole and Dilemma, and Michelle - being more of a gospel singer sang one of her songs that no one in the crowd new of  .
Then it was Beyonces turn - stealing the show with songs such as Crazy in love, baby boy and dangerously in love. Overall a fantastic night. Other features of the nite included Shakaya - an Australian R&B duo, who - to my surprise did alot better than I expected, and Mario - an R&B singer from America, singin songs such as Let Me love you, Here I go again and some of his older songs that I new of but didnt no he sang. When Mario came on her got to choose a girl to come up on stage whom he got to sing to - as soon as this happened, you should here the chatter of my friends Hsiu Ling and Chouly. .... "She is so lucky", "If I was her, I'd b touching him...." well u get the point!.
Atmosphere was great, ppl were fun, music was good. I took many videos but cant upload them on so here are some pics that I took of the nite.
 
The first is a pic i took from our seats just showing how many ppl there were at concert, almost full I would say. The second is of my friends Chouly, Yukimi (im hopin that this is spelt correctly and Hsiu Ling).
MAY
This was a big month for me, well a big three day period as I had 3 birthday parties to go to over a 3 day period - and guess what? They were all for me.
Day 1 - Friday (6th May 05)
I had a party with all my uni friends - Tim, Khun, Hoa, Mary, Leigh, Hsiu Ling, Chouly & Leanne - Thanks for comin out and making my birthday a special day. We went to eat at the Imperial Peking - I tried my first Peking Duck and enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope you liked the banquet - cos i did. To my surprise, my friends organised a little b-day fried ice cream for me...Thanks!  Well here is a group pic taken at the dinner, and of me with my fried-ice cream bday cake. They also got me the first 3 seasons of Alias, and some chocolates from Haighs which were beautiful but of which I could only eat a few as they were scoffed down by ppl at my day 3 bday party 
 
From there, it was time to hit the town - we went drinkin from place to place. Soul Bar, Some pub near china town where we met some of Hsiu Lings PWC friends, and Tim had his absynth experience - see Tims website: http://reverendtimothy.blogspot.com/2005/05/my-absinth-experience-i-had.html . Also at this bar, Leanne tried to get picked up by one of Hsiu Lings friends friends....if u get what i mean? heheh
From there, we went bar hoppin to Red Square - which we couldnt get into, so we ended up at Fumo Blu. A very trendy lookin bar in Rundle St. It was here than Khun bought me some banana type cocktail......it was very nice but there was alot of it, i was struggling to finish it, THANKS KHUN  . I had a very fun nite, and i hope that all of u did too! lets just say that Leanne had to drive home that nite hehee. Again thanks all of u for coming out that nite. O yea, here are the pics.
   
 
Day 2 - Saturday (7th May 05)
For those of you that dont know, myself and my 2 best friends - Anh and Sokhoeun all turned 22 over a three day period - 6,7,8 of May. The 7th of May was a celebration of our 3 bdays combining in joint party. It started with Dinner at the Hogs Breath Cafe, then movin on to of course, Max, and then Heavn. What can I say bout this birthday, thanks to all of those who came. Im greatful that I was able to experience my bday with my 2 closest friends - one whom ive known since yr 3 and the other since yr 8. As well as them, other friends thanks for all comin out. This nite included alot of drinkin also. To my surprise when i told my friends that i was drunk, they were all surprised. They said that they had not seen me drink that nite, when in actual fact i was, basically with anyone that i could vaguely recognise as a friend. At Max was where the drinkin occurred. When it was time to go to heavn there were bout 3-4 drinks on the table - mostly for Anh, but he said that he wasnt gonna drink them - and i didnt want them to go to waste so......i drank them, Mind you, it doesnt take much for me to get drunk.....i think i had bout 2 vodka/orange, 3 scotch and coke, 1 corona and a tequila slammer. I think that the reason Anh wasnt drinkin as normal was because someone gave him a long island ice tea - 5-6 shots in one. That would have knocked me out. On that nite, i was drunk - didnt drive that nite as i was expectin a big nite. there is a trend to these stories - im always drunk at the end. On this nite was when the 'tequila slammer' experience happened. Myself, Thien, Duy and Sokhoeun wanted to celebrate our bday with a slammer....u no the steps
(1) Slam
(2) Salt
(3) Drink
(4) Lemon
Pretty straight forward rite? WRONG. We were showing my fellow bday boy sok how to do this and this is what happened:
(1) Slam
(2) Salt
(3) Drink
(4) Spit drink back in glass
(5) We all laugh at him
(6) He drinks - but swallows
(7) Lemon
(8) I tell everyone bout the story and they all laugh, but sok also laughs
As i mentioned earlier, we went to heavn from there, where i tried to glowstick and rave, not very well though. Now theyve both gotten better. Here are pics of the nite.
   
   
   
 
Day 3 - Sunday (8th May 05)
This is the day of my bday - and coincidentally mothers day - happy mothers day for May to all the mothers lookin at this blog. So what better gift to give my mum then me just being there hehehhe how corny was that. Well this day became a joint bday/mother-fest. Not many pics taken as i was a little hung over. But here is one of me with my cake, and another of all the mothers and expectant mothers who have now since given birth to their babies...O yea and one of my Nephew Erik.
  
June and July were a little boring, then came August and parties started happening again.
